Terms & Conditions

  • By placing a booking with J&K Travel Ltd, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood and agree to accept the Terms and Conditions as detailed below.
  • Where the Customer is an individual, no part of these Terms and Conditions affects your rights as a consumer. These Terms and Conditions are in addition to your rights as a consumer.
  • The Company / Agent: J&K Travel Ltd. Registered in England and Wales No. 10735387. Registered office: 34 Clarendon Road, Wallasey CH44 8EL.
  • The Customer/The Hirer: Person and/or Organisation making the booking
  • The Driver: The Driver or Drivers of the vehicle, the coach Operator or supplier of the vehicle The Operator: Supplying Operator fulfilling the coach transport
  1. Use Of The Vehicle – The hirer cannot assume the use of the vehicle between outward and return journeys, nor that it will remain at the destination for the hirer’s use unless this has been agreed with J&K Travel Ltd.  J&K Travel Ltd reserves the right to levy additional charges for any additional mileage or time over and above that originally agreed. The charges will be pro rata and in accordance with booking confirmation.
  2. Animals – Will not be carried on any vehicle, except guide dogs.
  3. Payment – All monies must be made in full prior to the hire taking place unless a deposit has been agreed by J&K Travel Ltd. If any outstanding monies are due J&K Travel Ltd reserves the right to take the outstanding monies at any time from the original credit/debit card which the hirer paid with. The hirer and/or credit card holder agrees that a chargeback will not be raised to any credit card issuing company with regards to booking payment.
  4. Change Of Vehicle – J&K Travel Ltd may provide a larger vehicle than the size hired at no additional charge. J&K Travel Ltd reserves the right to subcontract to another coach operator to cover the hire. If the booked vehicle breaks down we have the right to use any other vehicle.
  5. Route – Unless the hirer has advised of a particular route or places to be passed en-route, which will be specified on the confirmation letter, the route taken will be at the discretion of the company and/or the driver. The vehicle will depart at the times agreed by the hirer, and it is the responsibility of the hirer to account for all passengers at those times. The company will not accept liability for any losses incurred by any passengers who fail to follow instructions given by the hirer.
  6. Breakdown/Delay – J&K Travel Ltd may give advice on journey times in good faith, but does not guarantee the completion of a journey at a specific time, and will NOT be liable for inconvenience or loss caused by breakdown or delay which is an unforeseen circumstance.
  7. Driver’s Hours – The hours of operation of the driver are regulated by the law and the hirer accepts the responsibly of ensuring the hire keeps to the hours and times agreed by the company. Neither the hirer nor any passengers shall delay or otherwise interrupt the journey in such a way that the driver is at risk of breaching regulations relating to drivers hours and duty time. If any breach is likely to occur the hirer will be responsible for any additional costs.
  8. Conduct of Passengers – The driver is responsible for the safety of the vehicle. Any passengers whose conduct is in breach of statutory regulations will be removed on the driver’s authority. The hirer will be responsible for all damages caused to the vehicle by hirer or passengers during the hire.
  9. Damage/Cleaning – If, as a result of the Hirer or passengers, any vehicle requires cleaning over and above that normally carried out, the Hirer will be liable for the reasonable cost of this. This charge will vary depending on the cleaning required.
  10. Cleaning Deposit – If requested by the Company, the Hirer will be required to provide a cleaning deposit prior to the Journey Start Date which, if no specialist cleaning as described in this clause is required, will be returned within 14 working days following the Journey End Date.
  11. Notices – No bill, poster or notice is to be displayed on any vehicle without prior consent of J&K Travel Ltd.
  12. Smoking, vaping, the consumption of alcohol and possession and/or use of illegal drugs is not permitted on the coach and the Hirer will be responsible for ensuring that this is observed. Any passenger whose conduct is in breach of statutory regulations may be removed from a vehicle or prevented from boarding on the Driver’s authority.
  13. Personal Belongings – J&K Travel Ltd are not responsible for any damage or loss caused to passengers personal belongings. Passengers are responsible for their own belongings.
  14. Cancellation Charges:
  15. WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DEPARTURE – 100% CHARGE.   BETWEEN  5 DAYS and 2 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE – 50% CHARGE
  16. English Law – This Agreement is subject to the laws and courts of England and Wales.
